Emily Skye sokkolóan őszinte képet osztott meg.
A fitneszblogger néhány nappal szülés után már megmutatta testét 2017 decemberében, és kifejtette, hogy esze ágában sincs siettetni eredeti formája visszanyerését:

I barely recognise myself when I look in the mirror! . I’m far from a “glam mum” HAHA! – I currently live in what you could call “granny undies”, it hurts to do much with the stitches from my episiotomy, and feeding is extremely painful – I had no idea it would be this bad! My back is still really sore and when I walk around it literally feels like my insides are going to fall out. I also had diastasis recti that was 3 finger widths apart the day after giving birth. . My pregnancy was not how I thought it would be, I thought I’d be exercising regularly the whole way through but that did not happen as I was sick a lot of the time and had back pain that made it hard to just walk around the house. I ended up gaining over 21kg during my pregnancy in fat, fluid, baby, placenta etc. . So many people told me I would “bounce right back” after giving birth like a lot of other fit women do. – Well that’s definitely not the case for me! It’s only 5 days after I gave birth to Mia and I look about 6 or so months pregnant. I can tell I’m going to have a LOT of hard work ahead of me to get fit and strong again which I KNOW I can do but it’s not my priority right now – spending this time with my daughter is. Getting my “body back” can take a back seat for the time being… I’ll get there in a realistic time frame & I refuse to put pressure on myself to get there. . I am SO blessed and beyond happy to bring home my baby girl Mia today. I feel completely content. I look at her and start crying because of the overwhelming love I have for her and I love my body SO much for growing this precious little person. . . #5dayspostpartum #mumlife #bodypositive #blessed .
Később aztán megmutatta, hogy mégis csak a bombaalakja az igazi:

“I don’t want to get bulky”, “I just want to grow my glutes and nothing else” “I gain muscle really fast so I can’t lift weights”.... Every day these are things I hear from women. So many women are still afraid of lifting heavy weights and they seem to have this obsession with growing a big booty without growing their legs. It’s impossible to grow your glutes without growing your quads and hamstrings as well. They’re all connected and they all work together so there is absolutely no way to isolate just the glutes and to train them intensely enough to stimulate growth without the legs also working and growing. If it were possible to just strengthen and grow the glutes and not the legs you’d actually have trouble standing and walking as you’d be so unbalance!! Sure there are exercises at target the glutes and they’re very effective at strengthening the glutes but you still work other muscles as well. Something I see a lot is women complaining that their legs are really bulky from lifting weights but the thing is generally these women have fat sitting on top of the muscle so it may appear that their legs are “bulky” but it’s just that they’ve still got a layer of fat hiding their “toned” legs. Also just for your info “toned” actually means having muscle and little body fat. An example is, when I had gained a lot of fat during my pregnancy my legs looked a lot bigger than what they are now and that’s because I was holding a lot more fat on them so they may have looked “bulkier”. Once I got rid of a lot of the fat that sits on top of the muscle my legs appeared a lot slimmer. Personally, I love muscle and I’m trying to build more! I just thought I’d share the truth about weight lifting, muscle and growing your glutes. Dont be afraid of the muscle ladies, being strong is AWESOME! . .
